Luit is a filter that can be run between an arbitrary application and a UTF-8 terminal emulator such as xterm. It will convert application output from the locale's encoding into UTF-8, and convert terminal input from UTF-8 into the locale's encoding.
Twm is a window manager for the X Window System. It provides titlebars, shaped windows, several forms of icon management, user-defined macro functions, click-to-type and pointer-driven keyboard focus, and user-specified key and pointer button bindings.
xf86-video-qxl is a video driver for the Xorg X server. This driver is intended for the spice qxl virtio device.

TigerVNC implements a VNC client and server. VNC is a remote display system that lets you view and interact with a virtual desktop environment running on another computer on the network. Client and server may be running on different operating systems and architectures.
TigerVNC uses a variant of Tight encoding that is greatly accelerated by the use of the libjpeg-turbo JPEG codec and performs fast enough to run even 3D or video applications. It also provides extensions for advanced authentication methods and TLS encryption.
This package installs the VNC server. Permitted users can log into a graphical session on the machine where the server is running, using a VNC client such as the tigervnc-client package.
Xorg FreeType library connects X applications with the FreeType font rasterization library. Xft uses fontconfig to locate fonts so it has no configuration files.

Imake is a deprecated source code configuration and build system which has traditionally been supplied by and used to build the X Window System in X11R6 and previous releases. As of the X Window System X11R7 release, the X Window system has switched to using GNU autotools as the primary build system, and the Imake system is now deprecated, and should not be used by new software projects. Software developers are encouraged to migrate software to the GNU autotools system.
xf86-input-joystick is a joystick input driver for the Xorg X server. It is used to control the pointer with a joystick device.
XRDB is used to get or set the contents of the RESOURCE_MANAGER property on the root window of screen 0, or the SCREEN_RESOURCES property on the root window of any or all screens, or everything combined. You would normally run this program from your X startup file.
