The ROI is a framework for handling optimization problems in R.
This package implements multiple imputation of missing covariates by Substantive Model Compatible Fully Conditional Specification. This is a modification of the popular FCS/chained equations multiple imputation approach, and allows imputation of missing covariate values from models which are compatible with the user specified substantive model.
This package provides a straightforward, well-documented, and broad boosting routine for classification, ideally suited for small to moderate-sized data sets. It performs discrete, real, and gentle boost under both exponential and logistic loss on a given data set.
The jsonlite package provides a fast JSON parser and generator optimized for statistical data and the web. It offers flexible, robust, high performance tools for working with JSON in R and is particularly powerful for building pipelines and interacting with a web API. In addition to converting JSON data from/to R objects, jsonlite contains functions to stream, validate, and prettify JSON data. The unit tests included with the package verify that all edge cases are encoded and decoded consistently for use with dynamic data in systems and applications.
This package provides an implementation of many measures for the assessment of the stability of feature selection. Both simple measures and measures which take into account the similarities between features are available.
This package provides R6 abstract classes for building machine learning models with a scikit-learn like API. Scikit-learn is a popular module for the Python programming language whose design became a de facto standard in industry for machine learning tasks.
This package implements general purpose tools, such as functions for sampling and basic manipulation of Brazilian lawsuits identification number. It also implements functions for text cleaning, such as accentuation removal.
The pls package implements multivariate regression methods: Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR), Principal Component Regression (PCR), and Canonical Powered Partial Least Squares (CPPLS). It supports:
several algorithms: the traditional orthogonal scores (NIPALS) PLS algorithm, kernel PLS, wide kernel PLS, Simpls, and PCR through
svdmulti-response models (or PLS2)
flexible cross-validation
Jackknife variance estimates of regression coefficients
extensive and flexible plots: scores, loadings, predictions, coefficients, (R)MSEP, R², and correlation loadings
formula interface, modelled after
lm(), with methods for predict, print, summary, plot, update, etc.extraction functions for coefficients, scores, and loadings
MSEP, RMSEP, and R² estimates
multiplicative scatter correction (MSC)
This package provides estimators for multinomial logit models in their conditional logit and baseline logit variants, with or without random effects, with or without overdispersion. Random effects models are estimated using the PQL technique (based on a Laplace approximation) or the MQL technique (based on a Solomon-Cox approximation). Estimates should be treated with caution if the group sizes are small.
This package provides tools to safely and efficiently organize and execute Monte Carlo simulation experiments in R. The package controls the structure and back-end of Monte Carlo simulation experiments by utilizing a generate-analyse-summarise workflow. The workflow safeguards against common simulation coding issues, such as automatically re-simulating non-convergent results, prevents inadvertently overwriting simulation files, catches error and warning messages during execution, implicitly supports parallel processing with high-quality random number generation, and provides tools for managing high-performance computing (HPC) array jobs submitted to schedulers such as SLURM. For a pedagogical introduction to the package see Sigal and Chalmers (2016) <doi:10.1080/10691898.2016.1246953>. For a more in-depth overview of the package and its design philosophy see Chalmers and Adkins (2020) <doi:10.20982/tqmp.16.4.p248>.
This R package provides functions to create formattable vectors and data frames. Formattable vectors are printed with text formatting, and formattable data frames are printed with multiple types of formatting in HTML to improve the readability of data presented in tabular form rendered in web pages.
This package is a toolkit for working with Bezier curves and splines. The package provides functions for point generation, arc length estimation, degree elevation and curve fitting.
This package provides a violin plot, which is a combination of a box plot and a kernel density plot.
Strex is a collection of string manipulation functions not provided by the stringi or stringr packages. The foremost of these is the extraction of numbers from strings. There are many other handy functionalities in strex.
This is a package for curve, surface and function fitting with an emphasis on splines, spatial data and spatial statistics. The major methods include cubic, and thin plate splines, Kriging, and compactly supported covariance functions for large data sets.
This package provides a set of functions with example data for graphing, pruning, and mapping models. These models are from hierarchical clustering, and classification and regression trees.
This package provides iterative methods for matrix completion that use nuclear-norm regularization. The package includes procedures for centering and scaling rows, columns or both, and for computing low-rank single value decompositions (SVDs) on large sparse centered matrices (i.e. principal components).
This package provides a collection of R functions to perform nonparametric analysis of covariance for regression curves or surfaces. Testing the equality or parallelism of nonparametric curves or surfaces is equivalent to analysis of variance (ANOVA) or analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) for one-sample functional data. Three different testing methods are available in the package, including one based on L-2 distance, one based on an ANOVA statistic, and one based on variance estimators.
This package contains utility functions for the spatstat package which may also be useful for other purposes.
This package provides gsubfn which is like gsub but can take a replacement function or certain other objects instead of the replacement string. Matches and back references are input to the replacement function and replaced by the function output. gsubfn can be used to split strings based on content rather than delimiters and for quasi-perl-style string interpolation. The package also has facilities for translating formulas to functions and allowing such formulas in function calls instead of functions.
This package lets you manage configuration values across multiple environments (e.g. development, test, production). It reads values using a function that determines the current environment and returns the appropriate value.
Multiple imputation using Fully Conditional Specification (FCS) implemented by the MICE algorithm as described in http://doi.org/10.18637/jss.v045.i03. Each variable has its own imputation model. Built-in imputation models are provided for continuous data (predictive mean matching, normal), binary data (logistic regression), unordered categorical data (polytomous logistic regression) and ordered categorical data (proportional odds). MICE can also impute continuous two-level data (normal model, pan, second-level variables). Passive imputation can be used to maintain consistency between variables. Various diagnostic plots are available to inspect the quality of the imputations.
This package provides a wrapper around the Parsing Expression Grammar Template Library, a C++11 library for generating parsing expression grammars, that makes it accessible within Rcpp. With this, developers can implement their own grammars and easily expose them in R packages.
This package provides functions for fitting the entire solution path of the Elastic-Net and also provides functions for estimating sparse Principal Components. The Lasso solution paths can be computed by the same function.
