The r-nleqslv package solves a system of nonlinear equations using a Broyden or a Newton method with a choice of global strategies such as line search and trust region. There are options for using a numerical or user supplied Jacobian, for specifying a banded numerical Jacobian and for allowing a singular or ill-conditioned Jacobian.
This package implements tools for manipulation of digital images and the Propagation Separation approach by Polzehl and Spokoiny (2006) <DOI:10.1007/s00440-005-0464-1> for smoothing digital images, see Polzehl and Tabelow (2007) <DOI:10.18637/jss.v019.i01>.
This package provides model-robust standard error estimators for cross-sectional, time series, clustered, panel, and longitudinal data.
This package implements tools for weighted network visualization and analysis, as well as Gaussian graphical model computation. It contains graph plotting methods, and tools for psychometric data visualization and graphical model estimation. See Epskamp et al. (2012) doi:10.18637/jss.v048.i04.
The sqldf function is typically passed a single argument which is an SQL select statement where the table names are ordinary R data frame names. sqldf transparently sets up a database, imports the data frames into that database, performs the SQL statement and returns the result using a heuristic to determine which class to assign to each column of the returned data frame. The sqldf or read.csv.sql functions can also be used to read filtered files into R even if the original files are larger than R itself can handle.
This package provides drop-in replacements for the base system2() function with fine control and consistent behavior across platforms. It supports clean interruption, timeout, background tasks, and streaming STDIN / STDOUT / STDERR over binary or text connections. The package also provides functions for evaluating expressions inside a temporary fork. Such evaluations have no side effects on the main R process, and support reliable interrupts and timeouts. This provides the basis for a sandboxing mechanism.
The package allows one to compose general HTTP requests and provides convenient functions to fetch URIs, GET and POST forms, etc. and process the results returned by the Web server. This provides a great deal of control over the HTTP/FTP/... connection and the form of the request while providing a higher-level interface than is available just using R socket connections. Additionally, the underlying implementation is robust and extensive, supporting FTP/FTPS/TFTP (uploads and downloads), SSL/HTTPS, telnet, dict, ldap, and also supports cookies, redirects, authentication, etc.
This package computes Hartigan's dip test statistic for unimodality, multimodality and provides a test with simulation based p-values, where the original public code has been corrected.
This package provides an implementation of scatter plots for plotting. a three dimensional point cloud.
The R package ggplot2 is a plotting system based on the grammar of graphics. GGally extends ggplot2 by adding several functions to reduce the complexity of combining geometric objects with transformed data. Some of these functions include a pairwise plot matrix, a two group pairwise plot matrix, a parallel coordinates plot, a survival plot, and several functions to plot networks.
This package provides p-values in type I, II or III anova and summary tables for lmer model fits via Satterthwaite's degrees of freedom method. A Kenward-Roger method is also available via the pbkrtest package. Model selection methods include step, drop1 and anova-like tables for random effects (ranova). Methods for Least-Square means (LS-means) and tests of linear contrasts of fixed effects are also available.
This package provides tools to convert plot function calls (using expression or formula) to grob or ggplot objects that are compatible with the grid and ggplot2 environment. With this package, we are able to e.g. use cowplot to align plots produced by base graphics, grid, lattice, vcd etc. by converting them to ggplot objects.
NbClust provides 30 indexes for determining the optimal number of clusters in a data set and offers the best clustering scheme from different results to the user.
This package implements the Differential Evolution algorithm. This algorithm is used for the global optimization of a real-valued function of a real-valued parameter vector. The implementation of DifferentialEvolution in DEoptim interfaces with C code for efficiency.
This package provides regression models for grouped and coarse data, under the coarsened at random assumption.
Customize Bootstrap and Bootswatch themes, like colors, fonts, grid layout, to use in Shiny applications, rmarkdown documents and flexdashboard.
This package provides a comprehensive collection of functions for conducting meta-analyses in R. The package includes functions to calculate various effect sizes or outcome measures, fit fixed-, random-, and mixed-effects models to such data, carry out moderator and meta-regression analyses, and create various types of meta-analytical plots (e.g., forest, funnel, radial, L'Abbe, Baujat, GOSH plots). For meta-analyses of binomial and person-time data, the package also provides functions that implement specialized methods, including the Mantel-Haenszel method, Peto's method, and a variety of suitable generalized linear (mixed-effects) models (i.e. mixed-effects logistic and Poisson regression models). Finally, the package provides functionality for fitting meta-analytic multivariate/multilevel models that account for non-independent sampling errors and/or true effects (e.g. due to the inclusion of multiple treatment studies, multiple endpoints, or other forms of clustering). Network meta-analyses and meta-analyses accounting for known correlation structures (e.g. due to phylogenetic relatedness) can also be conducted.
This package provides a fast match replacement for cases that require repeated look-ups. It is slightly faster that R's built-in match function on first match against a table, but extremely fast on any subsequent lookup as it keeps the hash table in memory.
This package provides a set of predicates and assertions for checking the properties of US-specific complex data types. This is mainly for use by other package developers who want to include run-time testing features in their own packages.
This package provides string and binary representations of objects for several formats and MIME types.
This package provides an R wrapper of OpenAI API endpoints (see https://platform.openai.com/docs/introduction for details). This package covers Models, Completions, Chat, Edits, Images, Embeddings, Audio, Files, Fine-tunes, Moderations, and legacy Engines endpoints.
Models can be improved by post-processing class probabilities, by: recalibration, conversion to hard probabilities, assessment of equivocal zones, and other activities. The probably package contains tools for conducting these operations as well as calibration tools and conformal inference techniques for regression models.
The lattice package provides a powerful and elegant high-level data visualization system inspired by Trellis graphics, with an emphasis on multivariate data. Lattice is sufficient for typical graphics needs, and is also flexible enough to handle most nonstandard requirements.
This package provides a menu-driven program and library of functions for carrying out convergence diagnostics and statistical and graphical analysis of Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling output.
